Sportfishing charter TRIPS FOR THE ANGLER

During the Winter and Spring months the "Shauna Lee" will be offering All Day Crabbing/Fishing and Half Day Crabbing only trips depending on what fisheries are open.  Our Charter Boat Anglers are involved in the whole process of Dungeness crabbing including baiting, setting and hauling of the crabbing gear.  A true hands on crabbing experience. 

The Northern California  Rock Cod and Ling Cod Fishing is a favorite of many Charter Boat Anglers.  It is not uncommon for Charter Boat Anglers to come off the boat with plenty of fish and fish stories to boot.  This is a popular trip late spring through the winter.  

Offshore Albacore Tuna, Bluefin and Bigeye charter fishing trips have become more popular off the Northern California Coast in the last 10yrs.  Late Summer- Early Fall is the typical time of year when Bodega Bay conditions become favorable for this fishery.  Make sure to get on our call list.  These trips are booked last minute a few days ahead of time when conditions become ideal.

Many Anglers prefer a "Captains Choice" Charter Boat trip.  The Captains are very "in tune" with current fishing, ocean and weather conditions. Rock Cod, Ling Cod, Halibut, Flounder and Striped Bass are some of the options that can be fished for.  It is not uncommon for Charter Boat Anglers to come home with a mixed bag of fish on these trips.

Chinook Salmon fishing will be open on a limited basis for 2025. There is a recreational quota of 7000 Summer run Chinooks for the entire California coast. When the Summer run quota is reached, the fishery will close. First opener is June 7th & 8th. Second opener is July 5th &6th. If the Quota is not reached, July 30th- Aug 3rd & Aug 25th-31st will be open. Fall run Chinook quota is 7500 and we have to fish below Pt Reyes during Sept 4th-7th. If quota not reached, Sept. 29th-30th.
