Sportfishing charter TRIPS FOR THE ANGLER

California Halibut trips normally run late Summer through the Fall. These trips are often fished along the sandy beaches and bays in the local areas and are often treated to sightings of Tule Elk on Tomales Point or  even a Whale or Dolphin show in the coastal waters.

The Northern California  Rock Cod and Ling Cod Fishing trips are favoured by many Charter Boat Anglers.  It is not uncommon for Charter Boat Anglers to come off the boat with plenty of fish and fish stories to boot.  This is a popular trip late spring through the winter.  

Offshore Albacore Tuna, Bluefin and Bigeye charter fishing trips have become more popular off the Northern California Coast in the last 10yrs.  Late Summer- Early Fall is the typical time of year when Bodega Bay conditions become favorable for this fishery.  Make sure to get on our call list.  These trips are booked last minute a few days ahead of time when conditions become ideal.

Many Anglers prefer a "Captains Choice" Charter Boat trip.  The Captains are very "in tune" with current fishing, ocean and weather conditions. Rock Cod, Ling Cod, Halibut, Flounder and Striped Bass are some of the options that can be fished for.  It is not uncommon for Charter Boat Anglers to come home with a mixed bag of fish on these trips.

Chinook Salmon fishing will be open on a limited basis for 2025. The Summer run 7500 fish quota for the California Coast filled in the first 2 day opener! Fall run Chinook quota is 7500 and we have to fish below Pt Reyes (only a 1 hr run) during Sept 4th-7th. If quota is not reached than Sept. 29th-30th will be open.
