Bodega Bay Charter boat offering ocean fishing, whale watching, harbor cruises and more!

During the Winter and Spring months, the 'Shauna Lee' will be offering All Day Crabbing/Fishing and Half Day Crabbing trips, depending on which fisheries are open. Our Charter Boat Anglers are deeply involved in the entire process of Dungeness crabbing, including baiting, setting, and hauling the crabbing gear, providing a true hands-on crabbing experience. Additionally, our fishing charters can be paired with harbor cruises or whale watching tours for those looking to explore more of the ocean's wonders.

The Northern California Rock Cod and Ling Cod fishing charters are a favorite among many Charter Boat Anglers. It is not uncommon for these anglers to come off the boat with plenty of fish and exciting fish stories to share. This popular trip runs from late spring through the winter, making it an excellent option alongside harbor cruises and whale watching tours.

Chinook Salmon fishing is currently closed, but we will provide updates here if there are any changes to this closure. There is a concerted effort to continue building the Salmon population, and we are excited about the future of fishing charters in Bodega Bay. In the meantime, you can enjoy our harbor cruises and whale watching tours while we await the return of Salmon fishing.

Many anglers prefer a "Captain's Choice" charter boat trip, as these fishing charters are operated by captains who are very "in tune" with current fishing, ocean, and weather conditions. On these trips, anglers can target various species such as rock cod, ling cod, halibut, flounder, and striped bass. It is not uncommon for charter boat anglers to come home with a mixed bag of fish, making these excursions just as exciting as harbor cruises and whale watching tours.

Offshore Albacore Tuna, Bluefin, and Bigeye fishing charters have gained popularity off the Northern California Coast over the last 10 years. Late Summer to Early Fall is typically when Bodega Bay conditions become favorable for this exciting fishery. Don’t forget to get on our call list for updates. These fishing charters are often booked last minute just a few days ahead of time when conditions become ideal, alongside our harbor cruises and whale watching tours.

 The Sonoma Coastline is home to an amazing array of Marine life.  Migrating Whales, local Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Pelagic Birdlife and more.  Our 3hr Whale Watching or Nature Tours are a great way to see all this incredible life.  Perfect thing to do while in Bodega Bay, CA 

 The "Shauna Lee" has a great aft deck and warm inviting cabin surrounded by windows.  She is the perfect boat to take on a nice Harbor Cruise or Watch the Sunset from. You can bring your own snacks and beverage and relax and enjoy a nice 60 to 90 min. tour on the water. A great thing to do after waiting in line for that great bowl of clam chowder, is enjoy it on the deck of the Charter boat "Shauna Lee" while cruising the harbor.
